Director, Global Medical Evidence Generation Lead, Oncology

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Director to lead medical evidence generation strategy for oncology assets in gastrointestinal and genitourinary cancers. The role involves designing and executing clinical research collaborations, sponsored trials, and investigator-sponsored studies to address unmet patient needs and inform product development.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive integrated evidence generation strategy aligned with Medical Affairs and product priorities
- Lead protocol development including study design, objectives, endpoints, and statistical considerations
- Assess research concepts for strategic alignment and feasibility to achieve objectives
- Oversee study delivery from concept through governance approval and lifecycle management
- Prepare and present evidence generation proposals and results to internal stakeholders and governance bodies
Requirements
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, MS or equivalent) required
- 5+ years pharmaceutical clinical development, Medical Affairs, or commercial experience
- Deep expertise in oncology, specifically GI and GU cancer therapeutic areas
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical research methodologies and evidence generation
- Strategic data analysis skills with ability to critically evaluate study design elements
- Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams and external thought leader relationships
- Understanding of global healthcare systems and GCP/ICH guidelines
Compensation: $207,490 - $251,433 base
