Senior Director, Global Medical Cardiovascular, Medical Product Lead

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Director to lead worldwide medical strategy for Milvexian, a cardiovascular anticoagulant in development for atrial fibrillation and secondary stroke prevention. This strategic role oversees clinical evidence planning, scientific communications, and cross-functional alignment while partnering with alliance stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute worldwide medical affairs strategy for Milvexian across atrial fibrillation and secondary stroke prevention indications
- Lead the cross-functional Asset/Indication Medical Strategy team, directing scientific narrative and global medical deliverables
- Oversee evidence generation strategies including investigator-sponsored research and integrated evidence planning
- Manage worldwide medical communications plans encompassing publications, congresses, and scientific exchange
- Collaborate with alliance partners, regional teams, and cross-functional departments to ensure aligned global medical strategy execution
Requirements
- Advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy, or life sciences with significant cardiovascular medical affairs experience
- Expertise in anticoagulation, thrombosis, atrial fibrillation, and stroke prevention clinical landscapes
- Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional and matrix-based teams globally
- Experience developing integrated evidence plans and clinical trial strategy
- Strong stakeholder management skills across internal and external partner organizations
- Background in medical communications, publications strategy, and scientific engagement
