Senior Director, Global Medical Neuroscience, Medical Product Lead - Specialty Neurology

Senior Director position leading global medical strategy for Bristol Myers Squibb's neurology portfolio, focusing on Neuroimmune, Neuromuscular, and Motor neuron assets. Combines medical product leadership with cross-functional collaboration to advance launch excellence, lifecycle management, and scientific leadership in Multiple Sclerosis and Spasticity treatments.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute global medical strategy for Neuroimmune, Neuromuscular, and Motor neuron franchise
- Lead and develop team of Medical Strategy professionals reporting to Disease Area Head
- Serve as senior integrator across Medical, Brand, Commercial, Regulatory, and other cross-functional teams
- Oversee medical data generation strategy including Phase 4 programs, publications, and evidence initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with thought leaders, scientific societies, and patient advocacy organizations
Requirements
- Senior medical leadership experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- Deep expertise in neurology, neuroscience, or related therapeutic areas
- Proven track record managing medical strategy and cross-functional teams
- Strategic business acumen with portfolio and lifecycle management experience
- Strong stakeholder management and external relationship-building skills
- Budget ownership and resource allocation experience
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, or equivalent) preferred
