The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for developing financial analyses and pricing solutions that support strategic business decisions, budgeting initiatives, and profitability objectives. This highly visible role partners with senior stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations that influence client engagements and overall financial performance. About the Role: Up to 165k base, bonus eligible The firm offers top tier a generous employee benefits package including, but not limited to, paid time off, medical, dental, vision care, 401(k) and substantial health club discounts 3 days hybrid in Midtown Manhattan Key Responsibilities Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate the impact of pricing proposals, alternative fee structures, and client-specific arrangements. Assess financial risks and profitability considerations associated with various engagement structures and provide recommendations for optimization. Present analytical findings, financial forecasts, and pricing recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Analyze historical project and engagement data to identify trends, benchmarks, and opportunities for improved pricing strategies. Partner with practice leaders and business stakeholders to develop budgets, staffing assumptions, forecasting models, and scenario analyses. Create and enhance budgeting and pricing tools, templates, and best-practice guidelines to improve consistency across engagements. Support business development efforts by providing financial data and analysis for proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations. Monitor realization, write-offs, fee adjustments, and other key performance indicators impacting profitability. Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure pricing agreements and billing structures are implemented accurately. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members while reviewing work for quality, accuracy, and consistency. Contribute to process improvements and initiatives that strengthen pricing capabilities and reporting functions. Stay informed on market trends, competitive pricing practices, and emerging industry developments. Manage multiple high-priority requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification is a plus. Approximately 3-6 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, revenue management, profitability analysis, or a related function within a professional services environment. Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills with advanced Excel capabilities. Ability to interpret complex financial information and translate findings into practical business recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting information to senior-level stakeholders. Experience working with large datasets and transforming data into meaningful reporting and insights. Knowledge of reporting, business intelligence, or financial management systems is preferred. Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities with minimal supervision. Collaborative approach with the ability to build relationships across departments and organizational levels.
