Work Environment

As an onsite practitioner in a home care setting, you will enjoy working alongside a close-knit team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to accurately identify their goals and needs, ensuring tailored therapeutic interventions are developed.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, allowing for focused, individualized care.
• Deliver cost-effective treatment strategies designed to enhance clients' range of motion and mobility, minimizing dependence on medication and surgical interventions.
• Create and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing a variety of cutting-edge treatment techniques.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness programs that cater specifically to each patient's unique requirements.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their treatment processes, empowering them to achieve greater functionality.
• Encourage a healthy lifestyle through the enhancement of strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination in your patients.
• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, regularly consulting and communicating to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously and evaluate treatment outcomes to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Maintain detailed records of patient care services delivered for compliance and ongoing assessment of treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work predominantly with individuals undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation, focusing on conditions commonly associated with sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain management. Our patients range from young athletes to seniors, providing a diverse spectrum of challenges and opportunities to make impactful contributions to their recovery efforts.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (PT) from an accredited physical therapy program approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association in conjunction with the American Physical Therapy Association.
• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• At least one year of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, which allows you to confidently apply your skills to clinical challenges.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
