Litigation Associate Attorney
Location: Sherman Oaks, CA
Work Arrangement: Remote
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join a growing legal practice. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, excellent legal research and writing skills, and the ability to independently manage complex legal matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
- Prepare for and conduct or defend depositions.
- Represent clients at court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
- Conduct legal research and analyze case law, statutes, and regulations.
- Manage case documents and support complex litigation matters.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active California Bar license.
- Experience in civil or complex litigation.
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Experience handling discovery, depositions, and court proceedings.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
