Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized tools and client interviews.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their healing journey.

• Monitor client progress through regular follow-ups and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care, promoting comprehensive treatment approaches.

• Engage in continued education to stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role is on individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Additionally, we serve vulnerable populations, including the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse.
