About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Operations, a key executive role that demands a dynamic and seasoned leader with a strong background in the life sciences industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full ownership of manufacturing, quality systems, supply chain, tech transfer, and facilities. This role requires driving operational performance to meet company objectives, particularly in the context of scaling for complex product launches. The Head of Operations will also oversee the enterprise cost structure, capital allocation, and resource management, and must be prepared to report operational performance at the Board level and represent operations externally as needed. Applicants for the Head of Operations position at the company should hold a Bachelor’s degree in biology, engineering, or a related discipline, and have at least 10 years of progressive operations leadership experience in biotech, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing. A proven track record in scaling operations for new product introductions and a deep, hands-on expertise in either multifluidics platform manufacturing or advanced supply chain operations are essential. The role demands a leader with strong knowledge of quality systems, regulatory compliance, and capital/resource allocation, who has experience in lean, fast-moving environments. Outstanding leadership, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills are also required, as the Head of Operations will be expected to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team and foster alignment with commercial, finance, and R&D functions to support the company's growth and strategic goals.
