Assistant Restaurant Manager

Salary: $55,000 to $58,000 CULINAIRE provides upscale food and beverage management services to a diverse collection of national accounts including art museums, cultural landmarks, hotels, performing arts centers, restaurants, and special event venues. Job Summary The Assistant Restaurant Manager will assist in the day-to-day food service operation. The position entails ensuring standards of excellence are met, supervising staff, and may support leadership with financial responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manages all functional areas of the restaurant. Trains, manages, and develops hourly associates. Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with the company culinary and marketing team. Oversees ordering, inventory and cost controls. Assists with catering events. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications 4 years of food service supervisory or lead experience. Luxury hotel experience. Experience managing cost controls is preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet. ServSafe Certification is preferred. Associate’s degree is preferred.
