We are currently seeking a Remote Medical Scheduler to join our team on a part-time basis. Position Overview: As a Remote Medical Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic by managing the scheduling of patient appointments. This is a remote position, meaning you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date schedules, communicating with patients to confirm appointments, and coordinating with our team to ensure a seamless patient experience. Key Responsibilities: Schedule patient appointments using our scheduling system Confirm appointments with patients via phone or email Maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules for all patients Coordinate with our team to ensure proper scheduling and patient flow Respond to patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service Keep track of cancellations and reschedule appointments as needed Follow up with patients to confirm their next appointment Communicate any scheduling conflicts or issues to the appropriate team members Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a medical scheduling role preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate schedules Proficient in using scheduling software and other computer programs Ability to work independently and remotely Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality Strong organizational and time-management skills Contract Details: This is a part-time contract position with flexible hours. You will have the opportunity to work remotely from your home. The contract length will be discussed during the interview process.
