Position Summary We are seeking a detail‑oriented and people‑focused Human Resource Specialist to support HR operations across our West Region. In this role, you will coordinate new hire onboarding, manage employee documentation, support Leaves of Absence, ensure compliance, and provide day‑to‑day HR support to both craft and professional employees. Location: West Region (Portland, OR) Travel Required: Regional travel for orientations & training Responsibilities Lead new hire orientation for craft and professional employees Prepare and distribute onboarding materials Coordinate background checks, drug screens, and onboarding tasks Process hires in iCIMS, UKG, and JD Edwards and communicate with applicable parties involved Travel to regional sites to conduct HR training and orientation Serve as the primary contact for FMLA, CFRA, disability, workers’ comp, and personal leaves Provide required forms, track leave timelines, and manage return‑to‑work processes Update HR systems and communicate status changes to managers and payroll Manage I‑9 verification and retention for all new hires Monitor subcontractor compliance with client I‑9 requirements Maintain accurate and confidential employee files Manage required postings for all regional sites. Process W‑4 updates, personnel change forms, address changes, transfers, and step increases Manage WRHR inbox inquiries and employee requests Coordinate contingent worker setup and assignment management with internal teams Qualifications Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and ensure the security of sensitive employee information Proficient in software programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS (iCIMS, UKG, JDE preferred) Strong written, verbal communication, time management, and attention to detail A valid driver's license Ability to lift at least 20 lbs Educational Background Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or equivalent experience SHRM-CP preferred Years of Relevant Experience 2‑4 years of progressive experience in Human resources or a business operations‑related field Wage Range $25.19‑$37.79 hourly / DOE Benefits 401(k) Plan Employee Stock Purchase Plan Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance Voluntary Life Insurance Voluntary Short‑Term & Long‑Term Disability Paid Time Off Henkels & McCoy West, LLC. is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr Casey Industrial, Inc.
