Forklift Operator

The Forklift Operator safely operates industrial trucks and related machinery in a warehouse or similar facility to move, load, unload, and stack materials. This role ensures products are handled accurately and efficiently to support timely and complete delivery throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product loads for accuracy and verify that materials match documentation before moving them within the warehouse or facility.
• Safely operate forklifts and other industrial vehicles to transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.
• Use levers, controls, and lifting devices such as forklifts and hoists to load, unload, transport, and stack materials in designated locations.
• Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and boxes, ensuring items are properly positioned and handled.
• Secure materials and products on pallets, skids, or in boxes for safe transport to designated areas within the facility.
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and handling materials.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate material movement and maintain an efficient workflow in the warehouse.
• Support basic inventory and material handling processes by moving goods to appropriate storage or staging areas as directed.

• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other industrial trucks in a warehouse or similar environment.

• Valid forklift operator's license.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 02 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience operating stand-up forklifts.
• Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures for pallets, skids, and boxes.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for basic data entry or tracking.
• General proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to safety and quality standards.

Work Environment

This position is based in a warehouse or similar industrial facility where forklifts and other material-handling equipment are used regularly. You work primarily on-site, operating stand-up forklifts and moving materials between loading, processing, and storage areas. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., providing a stable daytime shift. You may use tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and SAP to support material tracking and basic documentation. The environment involves physical activity, including standing, driving equipment, and handling pallets, skids, and boxes, while following established safety procedures and guidelines.

This is a Contract position based out of Fort Worth, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
