Commercial Plumber

Job Description

A Commercial Plumber plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in both new construction and renovation projects. Typically working within a small team of 1 to 3 members and reporting to a site supervisor, this position requires strong practical skills, compliance with plumbing codes, and the ability to interpret blueprints. Occasional travel between job sites is expected, and the role involves utilizing a combination of traditional tools and modern software to fulfill job requirements.

Responsibilities

Install plumbing systems in new construction and renovation projects
Repair plumbing fixtures and systems to maintain functionality
Read and interpret blueprints accurately to guide work
Ensure all work complies with relevant plumbing codes and standards
Collaborate effectively within a small team of 1-3 members
Report progress and issues to site supervisor
Travel occasionally between job sites as required
Use a combination of tools and software to complete tasks efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in plumbing
Vocational training in plumbing or related field
Journeyman plumber license
Proficient in blueprint reading
Strong knowledge of plumbing code compliance
Effective problem-solving skills
Good time management abilities
