Specialty Account Manager, Long Term Care (Milwaukee, WI)

Axsome Therapeutics seeks a field-based Specialty Account Manager for Long-Term Care in Milwaukee to drive commercial activities and product adoption in assigned territory. The role requires expertise in neuroscience products, relationship-building with LTC care teams, and execution of marketing strategies across the long-term care landscape.

Responsibilities

• Drive product adoption and performance in assigned LTC territory
• Build and maintain relationships with psychiatrists, neurologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nursing staff
• Engage with closed-door pharmacies, clinical pharmacists, case managers, and care coordinators
• Execute virtual and in-person customer engagement strategies
• Assess local marketplace stakeholders and trends to inform account strategy

Requirements

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales or account management
• Strong knowledge of long-term care facility operations and stakeholders
• Ability to engage effectively with clinical teams in virtual and in-person settings
• Disease state expertise in CNS conditions or neuroscience
• Territory management and business development skills
• Understanding of LTC ecosystem including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and care coordinators
