Job Function MedTech Sales – Clinical Sales – Surgeons (Commission) Job Category Professional Purpose The Business Manager is accountable for achieving sales goals in the assigned territory by driving adoption of 2D and 4D intracardiac echocardiography (ICE) in structural heart procedures and expanding market share. Responsibilities include developing new procedural opportunities, increasing ICE adoption within existing programs, and transitioning from TEE‑dependent workflows toward ICE‑guided procedures. The role builds and maintains relationships with physicians, hospital staff, and key opinion leaders, and indirectly leads a pod team of Ultrasound Clinical Account Specialists (UCAS) in coordination with Regional Business Directors (RBDs). Functional Responsibilities Partner with physicians and cath‑lab administrators to set up equipment evaluations and address issues promptly. Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve and exceed objectives. Own territory strategy: account prioritization, procedural targeting, ICE adoption roadmaps within structural heart programs. Communicate tactical and operational plans to UCAS, RBDs, and other team members. Lead and coordinate UCAS pod activity to drive product utilization. Demonstrate deep product and procedural knowledge and expertise in new product introductions. Serve as a source of information to pod members and internal partners, sharing best practices. Capture and convey voice‑of‑customer insights to clinical science, medical affairs, marketing, and R&D. Leverage cross‑functional partners to maximize resources and business outcomes. Communicate business‑related issues or opportunities to management. Provide mentoring to new sales staff as needed. Ensure compliance with all company guidelines and regulations. Maintain company vehicle safety protocols (Safe Fleet). Stay current on emerging technology and competitive landscape in interventional cardiology and structural heart. Collaborate with EP commercial teams on adoption plans. Qualifications Minimum of a BA/BS and at least 7 years of professional experience. 5+ years of sales experience in cardiovascular, vascular, or interventional cardiology medical devices or related markets. Experience selling or supporting cardiac imaging and structural heart products (ICE, TAVI, LAAO, M/T TEER, TTVR, PFO, ASD, etc.) preferred. Documented sales awards and achievements preferred. Capital selling experience preferred. Broad and deep relationships with interventional cardiologists. Strong analytical, project‑management, and communication skills. Experience in a matrixed organization and cross‑functional collaboration. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements. Physical Working Conditions Exempt position requiring flexible schedule and frequent disruptions. Advanced knowledge of healthcare and medical device industry required. Must complete company training programs. Valid driver’s license in the state of residence. Ability to multitask without direct oversight. Field‑based work: driving, walking, use of phone and computer. Willingness to travel in the US up to 80%. Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs. Benefits and Compensation The anticipated base pay range is $114,000 to $175,000. Eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Eligible for a company car through the FLEET program.
