Mission: To support the financial and project accounting operations of a growing commercial construction company and prepare for future leadership. What You’ll Actually Do Project Accounting Management: Manage construction accounting activities across various projects and track paid-when-paid payment requirements. Invoice and Cost Processing: Process construction-related invoices, perform precise job cost coding, and monitor project expenditures. Vendor Compliance Administration: Administer construction accounts payable, manage vendor payment processes, and review Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and lien waivers. Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure vendor compliance documentation is up-to-date. Month-End Support: Assist with month-end close procedures, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. The Must-Haves Background: Early career accounting professional with strong domain knowledge in construction accounting. Experience: 1-3+ years of accounting experience, specifically with construction accounting processes. Skills: Proficient in job cost coding, accounts payable administration, vendor compliance (COIs, lien waivers), account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
