About the role

Ride the Wave is looking for a driven Business Development Representative to run our outbound sales engine on a contract basis. No prior sales experience required — if you're motivated, coachable, and ready to work hard, we'll give you what you need to succeed. This is a results-driven engagement for a self-starter who thrives on generating qualified leads, booking appointments that convert, and keeping a healthy pipeline flowing to our Account Executives.

What you'll own

\n

\n
• Full outbound sales activity, from prospecting through follow-up
\n
• Generating and qualifying leads with a focus on high appointment show rates
\n
• Partnering with Account Executives to convert your leads into closed deals
\n
• Keeping accurate lead data and clean tracking in our CRM
\n
• Recommending improvements to sales and CRM workflows
\n

Target deliverables

\n

\n
• A high-volume outreach cadence in the range of 150 calls per day
\n
• Consistent lead generation supporting 4+ closed deals per month
\n
• A well-maintained, up-to-date pipeline
\n

\n

\n

Engagement terms

\n

\n
• Independent contractor (you manage your own taxes, tools, and schedule)
\n
• Availability during EST business hours for team coordination and lead follow-up
\n
• Compensation: $2,000/month base
\n
• Performance bonus: $600 per account closed by an AE from your generated leads, with additional performance-based incentives available
\n
• OTE: $5,000 -$8,000 per month
\n
