This contract position runs from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours onsite. As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students build essential speech, language, and social skills to succeed in the classroom and beyond.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or certification as required by the state of South Carolina
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly valued
• Familiarity with IEP implementation and documentation processes
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
• Ability to adapt and maintain a supportive learning environment in a school setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Support assessments, implement therapy interventions, and document student progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to encourage communication growth and social participation
• Assist with the development and review of student IEPs
• Maintain accurate records according to school and legal guidelines
