Business Development Specialist

$80k - $90k

We are seeking a high-performing, revenue-focused Business Development professional to build, activate, and convert strategic referral partnerships into measurable client growth. You will identify and onboard referral partners, generate qualified consultations, and personally close referred clients at a 65% conversion target. You will own the process from first outreach to a signed engagement agreement. If you thrive on building meaningful partnerships AND driving revenue, then this role is for you! This is not a relationship-building-only role; This is a full-cycle growth seat! Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required. Responsibilities: What You’ll Do: You will own the full referral revenue lifecycle. This includes: • Identify and secure new strategic referral partners monthly • Prospect beyond traditional industries and uncover non-obvious growth channels • Qualify partners to ensure alignment with ideal client profiles • Establish structured referral relationships with clear expectations and measurable outcomes • Generate qualified consultations directly from partner relationships • Conduct consultations and close referred clients with a 65% conversion target • Ensure referral-driven clients experience a seamless, high-touch journey • Track referral performance and revenue contribution by partner • Replace or optimize underperforming partnerships Treat Partnerships as a Sales Channel: • Develop referral activation strategies that consistently produce clients and revenue • Communicate ROI and mutual business value to partners • Collaborate internally to ensure a strong handoff and client experience • Monitor referral-to-revenue conversion metrics and adjust strategy accordingly • Maintain ownership of monthly and quarterly revenue goals Our Performance Expectations: • New qualified referral partners are secured monthly • Consistent referral-generated consultations • 65% close rate on referred clients • Revenue targets achieved through the partnership channel • Measurable ROI from referral relationships Meetings held and relationships maintained are not the goal; Revenue generated is. What Success Looks Like • A growing pipeline of high-performing referral partners • Revenue from partnerships is increasing quarter over quarter • Referred prospects converting at or above 65% • Clear evidence that partnerships are contributing directly to business growth Qualifications: Who You Are/What You Will Bring: • A relationship builder with a strong sales mindset • Comfortable owning a revenue number and being accountable for it • Experienced in full-cycle sales, business development, or revenue-generating partnerships • Skilled at consultative selling and influencing decision-makers • Confident in discussing financial value and ROI • Data-aware and motivated by measurable performance • Strategic thinker with a bias toward action • Resilient, self-motivated, and results-driven • Bilingual is preferred- Spanish- But not a requirement. This Role Is Not For: • Event coordinators seeking community presence roles • Passive networkers focused on brand awareness without measurable outcomes • Individuals are uncomfortable with revenue goals • Relationship builders who prefer not to close Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 Total Compensation

Compensation:
$80,000-$90,000 per year
