Job Details We are currently seeking a dynamic, driven, and experienced Permanent Assistant Project Manager-Commercial TI (Office) to join our growing team in the construction industry. This role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to work on a variety of commercial tenant improvement projects, with a focus on office spaces. The Assistant Project Manager will have the chance to work closely with a team of seasoned professionals, contributing to the successful completion of complex construction projects. This is a full-time, permanent position, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field. Responsibilities: Assist the Project Manager in the planning, management, and execution of commercial tenant improvement projects. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project objectives are met. Review and understand project specifications, and contribute to the creation of project schedules and budgets. Monitor project progress, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards. Coordinate and supervise the activities of construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and standards. Prepare progress reports and participate in project meetings. Contribute to the resolution of any issues or problems that arise during the construction process. Assist in the closeout process, ensuring all project deliverables are met and finalized. Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on commercial tenant improvement projects. Demonstrated knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels. Proficiency in using project management software and other computer applications. A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make effective decisions under pressure. A commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and develop effective solutions. The ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
