Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group on a telemetry post-critical cardiac unit, following established standards and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status and telemetry, recognize changes, respond promptly, and document care and outcomes.
- Administer medications and IV infusions per orders; manage IV drips as required by unit protocols.
- Assist with ventilator monitoring and support as needed; coordinate with respiratory therapy and other disciplines.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of licensed and unlicensed staff; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient safety and flow.
- Ensure accurate nursing documentation, patient and family education, and adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and unit policies.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California (or eligibility to practice in CA per agency policy).
- Telemetry/step-down cardiac care experience preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (3x12) in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to coordinate with physicians, therapists, and support staff.
- Familiarity with ventilator monitoring and IV drip management is a plus.
- Travel assignment eligibility and ability to complete required credentialing.
