Licensed Veterinary Technician – Emergency Snohomish, WA – Full-time: Overnight shift (Thursday–Saturday 7pm–8am, flexible 4–10 hour shifts) Role Responsibilities Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients. Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow. Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with your state's Veterinary Practice Act for credentialed veterinary technicians. Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on membership options, medications, and additional treatments. Assist in maintaining comprehensive medical records with support of practice systems. Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts. Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs. Mentor and support team members. Experience & Skills Requirements High school diploma or GED (required). Active or pending LVT license in Washington state. Two years of continuous veterinary technician/assistant experience (direct animal/patient care). Desire to practice empathetic, gold-standard medicine benefiting patients. Team oriented with ability to collaborate and support each other. Positive, kind, and trustworthy communication with patients, team members, and clients. Desire to continuously grow and advance as a veterinary technician. Benefits Compensation $28–36/hr total compensation plus hourly shift differential.
