Role Description

Position: Finance Manager (Part-Time, Remote)

Geo-Jade Petroleum Corporation is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee key financial operations and support the company's financial planning and business objectives. This is a part-time, remote position suited to a finance professional with strong analytical skills, sound financial judgment, and the ability to work independently.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with applicable financial regulations and accounting standards. Daily responsibilities will include managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing and reviewing financial statements, monitoring financial performance, and coordinating audits.

The successful candidate will also contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies, identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency, and collaborate with other departments to support informed decision-making and the organization's overall financial goals.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Financial Planning and Analysis: Demonstrated ability to develop budgets, forecast financial performance, and analyze financial data.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance: Experience preparing financial reports, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Accounts Management: Proficiency in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related financial transactions.
• Accounting Software: Familiarity with accounting software, financial management systems, and relevant reporting tools.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail when handling financial records and reports.
• Remote Work Capability: Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and work independently in a remote environment.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across departments.
