Touchstone Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide remote therapeutic services to a diverse client base, addressing various mental health challenges. Work Environment\n

As a remote mental health therapist, you will engage with clients from the comfort of their homes while being supported by a collaborative outpatient office environment. The position allows for flexible scheduling to accommodate both client needs and your availability. While the position is primarily remote, you may also participate in our outpatient office for collaborative team meetings, ensuring seamless communication and support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to gain a clear understanding of clients' conditions, leading to accurate clinical diagnoses and tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, group therapies, and family counseling utilizing various evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic interventions.

• Provide crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, offering immediate support and stabilization techniques through telehealth platforms.
\n
• Document all client interactions meticulously, maintaining up-to-date records which include treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, in compliance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines.

• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and holistic client care.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health resources and treatment options, while advocating for their rights and needs within the healthcare system.

• Continuously pursue professional development through training sessions, workshops, and seminars to stay informed about the latest developments in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a diverse group of clients, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and severe mental illnesses. You will have the opportunity to work with different demographics, adapting your therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs and goals of each client, whether they are adults, adolescents, or families.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active license as a Mental Health Therapist, such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• Possessing a Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a closely related field is required.

• Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities.
\n
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health setting is required.
\n
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Proven ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team dedicated to client care.

• A commitment to ethical practice and a high level of professionalism in all aspects of therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous clinical experience working with diverse populations and various mental health concerns is a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate documentation.

• Experience in implementing telehealth services effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
