Akicita Federal, LLC is a growing 8(a) small business serving federal agencies. We're looking for a business development lead to expand into new agencies and service lines. We want someone with real relationships who also knows how to compete.
What you'll do
- Find and qualify new federal opportunities outside our core healthcare market
- Use your existing agency and contractor relationships to open doors
- Lead capture work and support high-volume proposal production
- Build teaming partnerships with other small businesses, including outreach to firms whose contracts or program eligibility are coming to an end
- Track the pipeline and report to leadership
What you bring
- A track record in federal BD, capture, or account or contract management
- Existing relationships with agency buyers, program offices, or prime contractors. Tell us who you know.
- Experience with 8(a) and small business set-asides
- Energy and drive: you want to build something, not maintain it
- Comfortable using AI tools to move quickly
