You will need deep experience with concurrency, large scale systems, proficiency with solving real-world data management challenges, a strong understanding of how to craft solutions that are highly available, and a proven ability to design, develop, and optimize the core back-end systems.What You'll Actually Be DoingDeliver cloud infrastructure automation tools, frameworks, workflows, and validation platforms on our public cloud platformsDesigning, developing, debugging, and operating resilient distributed systems that run across thousands of compute nodes in multiple data centersUsing and contributing to open source technologyDeveloping Infrastructure-as-CodeWriting microservices on containerization frameworks such as Kubernetes, Docker, MesosResolving complex technical issues and drive innovations that improve system availability, resilience, and performanceBalancing live-site management, feature delivery, and retirement of technical debtParticipate in the team's on-call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly availableYou're Our Person If You Have:Minimum of 5+ years of backend software development experience (Python) working with Cloud ArchitectureIn-depth, hands-on experience with Linux Systems Administration and Troubleshooting, servers, and Cloud architecture. Good knowledge of Linux internals.Proven professional work experience with Python. In-depth understanding of OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.Public cloud engineering on GCP, AWS, and or Azure platforms.
