Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst provides financial and operational support to the D&T Department to drive effective use of D&T resources, ensure GAAP compliance, and provide visibility to D&T Management and Finance Management for key financial and operational metrics. Responsibilities Execute, maintain, and enhance financial forecasting and reporting models to support accurate and timely budgeting and forecasting of D&T costs throughout the year Prepare and analyze financial results versus budget, forecast, and prior year performance Prepare monthly D&T financial reports and provide explanations for variances against forecast and plan; clearly communicate findings, risks and opportunities to leadership Assist in monthly close process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for D&T expense accounts Track D&T invoices to assist in accrual creation Provide ongoing analytical support to D&T project managers with project financial forecast creation, tracking, management and reporting Provide oversight and validation of D&T contracts for alignment against budgets and adherence to Signet capitalization policy, including support and documentation for audit requests Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis using advanced Excel, AI, or other analytical tools, including conclusions and actionable recommendations, in response to management requests Identify, develop, and implement continuous process improvements across financial reporting and forecasting activities to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with business operations Leverage technology and automation solutions to support scalable, long‑term improvements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 1+ years of hands‑on experience with accounting, treasury, IA, G&A Support, or financial analytics Excellent Excel skills (including PivotTable & VLOOKUP) required Local to the Akron, OH area with the ability to be in office for hybrid on‑site days SAP experience preferred Benefits Comprehensive healthcare, dental, and vision insurance active on day 1 of employment Generous 401(k) matching after just one year Plenty of paid time off, plus seven holidays Exclusive discounts on premium merchandise Dynamic Learning & Development programs And more! #J-18808-Ljbffr Signet Jewelers Limited
