CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER, VETERANS HOME AND MEDICAL CENTER

Job Overview Chief Medical Officer (Veterans Home and Medical Center) responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the medical care program of the facility at Veterans Home of California – West Los Angeles. This is a 12‑month limited term position that may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent. Salary: $26,088.00 – $32,374.00 per month. Work shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, in‑office. Telework: not available. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and direct the medical care program of the Veterans Home. Ensure compliance with state or county public health guidelines and requirements for infectious disease prevention and control. Coordinate clinical services and staff to provide high‑quality care to veterans. Review and evaluate medical performance and patient outcomes. Minimum Qualifications Valid license to practice medicine from the Medical Board of California. Must take and pass the required examination for the Chief Medical Officer, Veterans Home and Medical Center to establish eligibility before a job offer.
