Physic Rehab Services LLC is seeking an experienced and dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Tenafly, New Jersey. In this role, you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality care in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our outpatient office located in Tenafly, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Implement treatment services as per the plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist, ensuring adherence to protocols and standards of care.
• Participate in collaborative discussions to develop effective treatment plans, obtaining necessary approvals from referring physicians as required.
• Conduct detailed chart reviews, ensuring the accuracy of patient evaluations and identifying pertinent issues that affect patient progress.
• Safely apply various therapeutic procedures and modalities, demonstrating a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
• Contribute insights regarding patient care and progress, assisting Physical Therapists in refining treatment strategies based on patient response.
• Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately in our electronic health records system, complying with legal and organizational standards.
• Monitor and record treatment changes as dictated by clinic policies, ensuring data integrity and exceptional patient care documentation.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, discharge planning, and proper maintenance strategies to facilitate recovery post-therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient facility primarily serves patients in need of orthopedic rehabilitation. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The PTA will play a critical role in assisting patients of various age groups, from adolescents to seniors, by tailoring rehabilitation efforts to their specific needs and treatment goals, thus positively impacting their recovery journey and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Possess a current and active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong understanding of physical therapy principles, especially within an orthopedic context.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Experience with exercise prescription, manual therapy techniques, and sports rehabilitation is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and expertise.
