Key Responsibilities

• Implement personalized treatment plans developed by licensed Physical Therapists, meticulously tailored to support the rehabilitation goals of each individual patient.
• Assist patients in performing therapeutic exercises, employing manual therapy techniques, and facilitating functional mobility training to enhance physical performance and reduce pain.
• Administer various modalities including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy, adapting to patient needs to promote optimal recovery.
• Regularly monitor and maintain detailed records of patient progress, diligently reporting any significant changes to the supervising Physical Therapist for further assessment.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies and effective home exercise programs to encourage continuous improvement outside of therapy sessions.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations by maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation in alignment with HIPAA standards.
• Engage actively in interdisciplinary collaboration, working closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers to create a well-rounded approach to patient treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at PhysioSpace LLC, you will primarily serve a diverse patient base with conditions ranging from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management. Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in New Jersey is required.

Preferred Experience
