Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, tailoring each approach based on client needs and treatment objectives.

• Collaborate effectively with nursing and other healthcare professionals to implement and refine patient treatment plans.

• Document patient interactions meticulously, including progress notes that detail client progress toward treatment goals, ensuring they are completed by the end of each shift.

• Offer accurate observations and support to patients during therapy sessions, while also orienting them and their families to treatment protocols.

• Address patients' personal needs and assist them during emergencies while maintaining a calm and supportive environment.

• Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively while advocating for clients' needs within the treatment team.

• Monitor patients for any significant changes in behavior, demonstrating robust crisis management skills at all times.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD in California.

• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Demonstrated experience providing marriage and family therapy to a diverse clientele, including both children and adults.
