Position Summary:

Ace ImageWear is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support and coordinate the daily functions of our Human Resources department. This role serves as a key resource for employees and management by assisting with recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee engagement, safety initiatives, training coordination, compliance, and employee relations. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, proactive, and passionate about creating a positive employee experience while supporting the company's operational and strategic goals. As part of our commitment to work-life balance, this position enjoys a 4½-day work week, with employees working Monday through Thursday and a half day on Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and facilitating onboarding.
• Maintain employee files, HR databases, and personnel records while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Assist with new hire orientation and employee onboarding processes.
• Support benefits administration, enrollment, employee inquiries and benefit audits.
• Coordinate employee and management training program.
• Coordinate and oversee Safety Program and conduct monthly meetings.
• Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and recordkeeping requirements.
• Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR procedures.
• Support employee engagement, retention, and workplace initiatives.
• Coordinate employee engagement activities, including celebrations, recognitions, luncheons, and office communication
• Coordinate quarterly drug screening program.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and employee relations skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or other HRIS/payroll systems.
• Bilingual Spanish/English language skills.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday (9 hours daily) & Friday (4 hours)
