Key Responsibilities\n

• Skillfully diagnose and treat various mental health disorders utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating therapeutic methods that align with clients' goals and circumstances, ensuring that they feel heard and supported.
\n
• Consistently meet with clients to provide counseling, conduct therapy sessions, and actively adjust treatment plans in response to client progress and feedback.

• Conduct ongoing assessments of client progress and collaborate with clients to set and refine achievable goals.
\n
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, creating an inclusive environment that encourages open dialogue and peer support.

• Make appropriate referrals to other specialists when necessary, ensuring clients have access to a broader support network as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will work with a diverse group of clients, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and co-occurring disorders. Your expertise will empower clients to confront their challenges, gain insights into their behaviors, and ultimately develop healthier coping strategies. By addressing both individual and family dynamics, you will facilitate healing and growth within whole families.

Qualifications\n

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based practices, particularly in the areas of substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

• Strong therapeutic skills, with the ability to motivate and engage clients effectively.

• Excellent communication abilities to build rapport and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing counseling for addiction and substance abuse is highly desirable.

• Background in group therapy or family therapy settings.
\n
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans that are responsive to clients' evolving needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
