Assistant General Manager - Luxury Residential

This opportunity is located at our luxury high‑rise, The Avery! What you’ll be doing as an Assistant General Manager Property Oversight: Ensure that the residential community maintains the highest standards of excellence. Oversee our Concierge team, service standards, and safety protocols, to ensure a well‑maintained and secure environment for residents. Assists General Manager with indirect oversight of the Management Office team and Maintenance team. Collaborative Leading: Lead and inspire a team of dedicated professionals, fostering a positive work environment that encourages growth, innovation, and teamwork. Provide guidance and support, ensuring everyone is aligned with the vision of delivering exceptional resident service. Resident Interface: Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, actively listening to their needs and concerns. Serve as a trusted point of contact, promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues to enhance their living experience. Customer Service: Makes introductory calls to all future residents prior to move‑in and initiates face‑to‑face meetings with new residents to assure quality control and confirm satisfaction with the service that was provided. Communication: Ensure efficient and courteous response to all resident requests. Handles all resident complaints expeditiously, diplomatically, and professionally. Provides resolution to resident problems and ongoing resident relations. Compliance: Maintains accurate files for all site administration, including lease files, operational procedure files, work‑order files, etc. Prepares and processes appropriate written communications, i.e., memos, letters, insurance incident reports, etc. Financials: Collects and posts all resident rent payments and manages the accounts receivable process. Submits, reviews, and approves purchase orders as well as maintaining good relationships with vendors and contractors. Compensation The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package. Anticipated salary range: $75,000 - $85,000 Actual base salary within the anticipated range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and market factors. Qualifications Up to 5 years of proven successful experience as an Assistant Property Manager or Assistant General Manager. You are a results‑oriented leader who demonstrates genuine care and concern for your team, vendors, and residents. You are a technology enthusiast proficient in leveraging technology tools and platforms including Microsoft Office, calendar management, our internal applicant database software (Yardi) and social media seamlessly.
