Job Title: Processing Clerk (Evaluation-to-Hire)

Pay: $20.00/hour
Classification: Evaluation-to-Hire

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Processing Clerk to support customer service, order processing, and shipping/receiving operations. This is a long-term opportunity with a growing company for someone who enjoys a combination of administrative and warehouse-related responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

Respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing, order placement, order status, and shipping updates
Research and resolve customer concerns and order-related issues
Prepare and provide customer quotes using established pricing schedules
Track shipments and communicate updates using carrier websites

Order Processing

Review customer orders for accuracy and completeness
Verify part numbers, pricing, and product availability
Enter and maintain order information in company systems
Generate Order Acknowledgments with order details, costs, and estimated delivery dates
Coordinate with Warehouse and Accounting teams to ensure timely processing and invoicing

General Office & Warehouse Support

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
Provide backup support for shipping, receiving, and warehouse functions
Assist with service parts coordination and other administrative duties as needed
Help maintain an organized and efficient work environment

Qualifications

Strong data entry and computer skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Ability to work effectively with employees across multiple departments

Equipment Used

Computers, printers, telephones, and other office equipment
Microsoft Office Suite
Forklift and pallet jack

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
Standing, walking, and frequent communication throughout the day
Occasional use of tools as needed

Additional Requirements

Clear driving record with no more than two minor moving violations within the last three years and no major violations within the last seven years

Work Environment

Primarily located in the Shipping & Receiving Department
Fast-paced environment requiring strong organizational and multitasking skills

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
