FSP Contract Specialist

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Site Contract Specialist to prepare, negotiate, and finalize agreements with clinical trial sites. The role involves managing contract processes, assessing risks, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring compliance with established parameters and timelines in a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize study site agreements within approved parameters and company guidelines
• Assess legal, financial, and operational risks; escalate issues through established channels
• Coordinate with internal departments to align site startup and contract activities with critical path timelines
• Ensure compliance with budgetary guidance, templates, contractual process, and client expectations
• Achieve target cycle times for site activations and resolve out-of-parameter issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in contract management or related field
• Understanding of contract law principles and investigator grant negotiation
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills; local language proficiency preferred
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development and CRO involvement
• Proficiency with automated systems and computerized business applications
• Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills
