Travel Physical Therapist - $2,431 per week

Responsibilities Conduct evaluation, development, and execution of plans of care for a variety of patient populations in an acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the respective setting following guidelines and comply with facility standards. Understand and comply with the rules and regulations of the respective PT board and state. Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment and incorporate its use as needed. Evaluate and create plans of care; modify plans based on patient condition. Use medical center computer systems in daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of clinical experience (new graduates encouraged to apply); exceptional candidates may qualify with 6 months of experience based on background. BLS certification and state-specific licensing. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods without difficulty. Additional Requirements May require additional certifications before assignment.
