Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

• Conduct therapeutic sessions with couples, addressing issues that arise within their relationships, and also engage with each partner individually to provide comprehensive support.

• Facilitate sessions centered on diverse challenges such as alcohol abuse, physical and psychological trauma, grief and loss, family conflict resolution, adjustment issues related to divorce or separation, and more.
\n
• Employ evidence-based methodologies while utilizing telemedicine tools to provide both remote and in-person support based on your clients' needs.
\n
• Create individualized treatment plans that honor the unique dynamics of each family and client situation, ensuring measurable progress is tracked effectively.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices and enhance your skill set in family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be largely on working with various demographics, including adults, couples, and adolescents. This role requires sensitivity to diverse cultural backgrounds and the ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet specific community needs, particularly in the Bronx. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A valid and active LMFT license in the state of New York.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
