Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will engage in therapeutic interventions directly with couples and families. Your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples, followed by individual sessions to address distinct dynamics.
\n
• Providing services for various issues, including but not limited to:
\n
• Alcohol abuse, physical and psychological abuse, grief and loss, conflicts among family members, job stress, medical issues, and challenges facing blended families.
\n
• Offering support during transitions such as separation and divorce, and helping clients navigate the adjustment period thereafter.
\n
• Assisting clients with communication difficulties and familial conflicts, particularly in sensitive areas such as mother/daughter relationships.
\n
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop integrated care plans that align with our holistic approach to health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents. Our patients often arrive facing various challenges such as relationship issues, trauma, and emotional distress. Your expertise will help them navigate their individual and family dynamics, fostering healthier relationships and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Preferred Experience\n
