Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our integrated care team at Mental Harmony Wellness Center LTD, a growing psychiatrist outpatient office in Savannah, Georgia. This full-time role focuses on providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health services to individuals facing complex medical and psychiatric challenges. The therapist will work in a primarily remote setting while also engaging in collaborative practices within our outpatient office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate emotional, behavioral, and psychological needs, factoring in the impact of associated medical conditions.
• Develop and execute customized treatment plans that prioritize both psychiatric and medical considerations, effectively addressing the holistic wellbeing of each patient.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based techniques, ensuring that therapy is responsive to each patient’s unique context and challenges.
• Collaborate closely with our medical team to ensure coordinated care pathways, enhancing treatment efficacy and patient outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies to stabilize patient conditions.
• Educate patients about the interplay between mental and physical health, empowering them to take active roles in managing their conditions.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment strategies, case management, and best practices in integrated care.
• Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in mental health care, continuously seeking ways to enhance your own professional skills and the services we provide.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients with complex needs, particularly those experiencing mental health disorders in conjunction with chronic physical conditions. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
• Proficiency in addressing the mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions is essential.
• Experience in delivering integrated care and understanding the nuances of collaboration with medical professionals.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
• Strong adherence to ethical guidelines, maintaining professional boundaries and ensuring confidentiality in all patient interactions.
• Comfortable with utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, particularly in integrated care settings.
• Background in managing cases involving chronic pain, substance use disorders, and other complex medical concerns.

Compensation and Benefits
