Expressive Expression Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health status through one-on-one meetings, applying clinical expertise to identify psychiatric and emotional concerns.
• Develop tailored therapeutic interventions by crafting individualized treatment plans that align with best practices and evidence-based methodologies.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, employing both individual and group therapy techniques to empower clients, help them navigate their challenges, and equip them with coping strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, when necessary, to refer clients to psychiatrists or other specialists to address complex mental health issues effectively.
• Document all interactions and treatment progress in our EHR system, ensuring accurate record-keeping that adheres to ethical and legal standards.
• Stay engaged with ongoing professional development to remain informed of the latest therapeutic techniques and cultural competencies in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will interact with a wide range of clients facing various mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Our practice prioritizes inclusivity and is dedicated to providing culturally responsive care to all individuals while recognizing the unique backgrounds and experiences each client brings. You will play a crucial role in shaping therapeutic experiences that resonate with clients from diverse demographic and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychological practices, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in mental health counseling or related fields, demonstrating a breadth of knowledge in psychological disorders.
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and therapeutic interventions.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills enabling you to build rapport and trust with clients effectively.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and familiarity with computer applications relevant to mental health practice.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality, ethical guidelines, and professional boundaries within all client interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within an outpatient setting, delivering both individual and group therapy sessions.
• Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies, with a strong ability to navigate challenging scenarios.
• Experience in developing culturally responsive treatment plans and a proven history of serving diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits
