Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from your home while still being an integral part of our dynamic counseling community. Our therapy sessions take place in an outpatient setting, facilitating close and personal interactions with clients while maintaining a balance of professional boundaries.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify mental health needs and establish personalized treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.
• Facilitate individual counseling sessions, along with options for family, marriage, and group therapy depending on your areas of expertise.
• Perform mental health screenings and evaluations, meticulously documenting client progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Organize and maintain treatment records in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring information confidentiality.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and utilize evidence-based practices to implement the most effective therapeutic techniques.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed, working to stabilize clients during acute episodes of distress or emergency situations.
• Contribute to team meetings, offering feedback and insights based on your therapeutic experiences to enhance team cohesion and patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population consists of individuals of all ages, with specific focus on those facing mental health and behavioral challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and co-occurring disorders. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with families and groups, creating a holistic treatment experience that addresses emotional barriers and promotes healing across generations.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field is required, along with current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Social Worker (LICSW).
• At least two years of professional experience working with a diverse range of individuals facing mental and behavioral health issues.
• Proficiency in therapeutic frameworks, skills in individual and group counseling, and familiarity with co-occurring disorders and substance abuse treatment methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with both clients and their families empathetically and effectively.
• In-depth understanding of current industry practices, therapeutic techniques, and emerging trends in mental health counseling.

Preferred Experience

• Direct experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and families, tailoring therapeutic strategies to suit varied client needs.
• A background in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Participation in therapy-based communities or networks which enhances the sharing of resources and support among mental health professionals.

Compensation and Benefits
