Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, family discussions, and individual counseling, ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment for clients.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems effectively.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and workshops to stay current with the latest advancements in mental health research and treatment methodologies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families who face various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience

• Experience and specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred, enriching the service spectrum you deliver.
