Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify clients' issues and strengths, leading to the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions and, when appropriate, group therapy sessions by employing evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure clients receive integrated and holistic care.
• Regularly engage with clients' support systems, educating families on mental health topics to promote understanding and encourage involvement in the therapeutic process.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records while upholding the highest standards of regulatory compliance and ethical considerations.
• Participate in ongoing supervision and consultation with other therapists to enhance clinical skills, share knowledge on best practices, and discuss complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including adults and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health issues. From mood disorders such as depression and anxiety to trauma-related concerns, your expertise will guide clients in their recovery journeys. By employing culturally competent care approaches, you will contribute to the positive growth and development of clients from various backgrounds, ensuring that their unique experiences and perspectives are respected and integrated into their treatment.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, or LICSW) in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly with a focus on mood disorders.
• In-depth knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to coordinate care effectively with medical professionals.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to develop rapport and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Expertise in applying evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly comforting cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies.
• A demonstrated history of successful client outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders and the ability to articulate therapeutic strategies and successes.
• Experience working with culturally diverse populations and an understanding of their unique challenges and needs in mental health care.

• A competitive annual salary ranging from $52,000 to $70,000, commensurate with the experience and caseload.
