Key Responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of clients, developing rapport and establishing trust while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.
• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess their progress, discuss any stability concerns, and plan for future appointments or discharge when appropriate.
• Design, implement, and continually assess client-centered treatment plans to ensure they are tailored to meet individual needs.
• Maintain detailed, up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client interaction.
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to identify client needs and formulate initial treatment interventions.
• Engage in individual therapy sessions, offering both individual and group therapy formats as needed.
• Participate in regular supervision meetings to discuss clinical cases and enhance professional growth.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to create an integrated support system for clients.
• Adopt a growth mindset, continually seeking to learn and readily adapt to evolving treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily focuses on providing mental health services to youth, ensuring that their unique emotional, psychological, and developmental needs are addressed. As an LCPC at Greenwood Consultant Services, you will work closely with adolescents and their families, employing evidence-based practices to equip them with the skills and coping strategies needed to thrive.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a mental health-related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland.
• Ability to meet and maintain the necessary requirements for internal credentialing specific to our clinical practice.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of direct experience working with psychiatric patients and/or clients facing substance abuse challenges.
• Demonstrable expertise in conducting assessments, diagnoses, and delivering individual and group therapy sessions.
• Proficient in utilizing basic computer tools for documentation and client management.

Compensation and Benefits
