As a remote mental health counselor, you will operate primarily via a telehealth platform, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home or any location that provides a private, confidential setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health needs, actively collaborating with them to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique challenges.
• Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities tailored specifically to the client’s needs, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
• Set clear therapeutic goals in partnership with clients and continuously monitor progress to adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring clients feel empowered and involved in their journey.
• Utilize our advanced teletherapy platform to offer virtual sessions, making mental health services accessible to clients who may face transportation or mobility challenges.
• Document all client interactions accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to ethical guidelines and regulatory standards to maintain professionalism and integrity in our practice.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, webinars, and peer consultations, enhancing your clinical skills and keeping abreast of the latest advancements in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Master’s degree or equivalent degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, effectively establishing rapport and trust with clients to create a safe therapeutic space.
• Empowerment-driven approach characterized by empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude toward the clients’ experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, enabling the successful handling of varied caseloads and related administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

We value candidates with prior experience in a private practice setting, particularly those familiar with telehealth service delivery. Experience in trauma-informed care and specific therapeutic modalities will be beneficial. Proficiency with electronic health records and client management systems is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
