Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance while contributing to meaningful mental health support. Utilizing telehealth technology, you will connect with clients via secure video platforms, ensuring confidentiality and a comfortable space for therapeutic engagement. Your schedule will primarily consist of typical business hours, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which aligns with a commitment to work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients seeking techniques for stress reduction, relaxation, and emotional well-being.
• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, customizing mindfulness practices to address their specific situations.
• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques that promote self-awareness and emotional stability.
• Facilitate both individual and group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, resilience-building strategies, and stress management techniques to bolster client engagement and support.
• Incorporate mindfulness principles into individual therapy sessions to effectively address clients' mental health concerns and facilitate their journey towards recovery and personal growth.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to create a cohesive treatment plan that integrates mindfulness with overall therapeutic approaches.
• Maintain detailed documentation regarding client progress, mindfulness interventions, and revisions to treatment plans to ensure optimal care delivery.
• Engage in personal mindfulness practices regularly and pursue continuous professional development to enhance your expertise in mindfulness-based therapies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population of clients suffering from a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress management, and emotional regulation issues. Each individual's journey will be approached with sensitivity and respect, utilizing mindfulness techniques to help clients identify their emotions, enhance self-awareness, and build constructive coping strategies.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT within the state of Maryland.
• Strong communication abilities and proficiency in providing a calming, empathetic therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience

• While formal training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a plus, we welcome applicants who are eager to learn and integrate mindfulness into therapeutic practices.
• Experience in telehealth platforms and remote therapeutic engagement is highly desirable, emphasizing adaptability in client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000, based on experience and qualifications.
