Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions utilizing a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach tailored to meet individual client needs.
• Maintain detailed session documentation through our streamlined online system, ensuring accurate and timely records that comply with regulatory standards.
• Participate actively in peer consultations and continuing education events to share insights and enhance professional skills.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute mental health issues.
• Build and maintain trusting therapeutic relationships with clients, fostering a safe space for discussion and healing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve represent a broad spectrum of backgrounds and mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mood disorders. Our focus on inclusivity ensures we cater to various demographics in the Kissimmee area and beyond, addressing the unique cultural, socio-economic, and individual needs of each client.

Qualifications

• An active Florida license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
• At least two years of professional experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of CBT techniques and a commitment to staying updated with telehealth best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience providing therapy in a remote or digital format to enhance client engagement and communication.
• Experience with diverse populations and a demonstrated ability to address multicultural issues in mental health.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 110,000 based on experience and qualifications, with additional bonus potential linked to the number of client sessions conducted.
