Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Telehealth Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments of new clients and their families to identify their unique needs and therapeutic goals.
• Provide individualized and family therapy sessions that are tailored to client needs, utilizing proven methods to enhance healing and progress.
• Ensure all necessary documentation—including treatment plans, billing, and insurance authorization forms—are completed accurately within specified time frames.
• Develop personalized crisis and safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to foster client stability and overall functioning.
• Create and implement effective discharge plans as needed, ensuring ongoing care and resources are available for clients post-therapy.
• Stay current and compliant with all local and federal laws, regulations, and NEHS policies to uphold the highest standards of ethical practice.
• Engage in professional development through training, supervision, and continued education to sharpen skills and enhance service delivery.
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings, sharing insights and collaborating on best practices with your peers.
• Fulfill all licensing requirements and mandatory training to maintain professional credentials and expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. You will work with diverse populations, utilizing culturally nuanced approaches to build trust and rapport with clients from various backgrounds. Your efforts will directly contribute to improved mental health outcomes and help clients navigate their paths to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a mental health professional (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Texas is mandatory.
• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling, preferably in a telehealth setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with integrated behavioral health models and teletherapy tools is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
