Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance abuse history and mental health status, allowing for informed intake processes.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address both addiction issues and underlying mental health conditions, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
• Facilitate engaging and dynamic individual and group therapy sessions grounded in evidence-based modalities, such as CBT or DBT, promoting effective coping strategies and personal growth.
• Collaborate with a diverse treatment team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to deliver integrated care that is cohesive and effective.
• Educate and collaborate with clients' families, fostering a supportive network that encourages ongoing recovery efforts and participation in the treatment process.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies, ensuring compliance and integrity in client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your work will be with individuals aged 18 and older dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. You will engage with a diverse clientele, addressing various backgrounds and life experiences, which adds to the richness of your professional practice.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid license as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, LCSW-C, or PsyD is required.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is essential.
• Prior specialized training or considerable experience in addiction counseling is highly valued.
• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practices for managing substance abuse and co-occurring disorders is crucial.
• Strong therapeutic skills and the ability to effectively motivate and engage clients in their recovery process is a must.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment are essential for this role.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a remote treatment environment, with proficiency in using telehealth platforms.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and techniques, enhancing your ability to connect with vulnerable clients.
• Experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions with diverse population groups.

Compensation and Benefits
